Pascale has been dancing and singing along to nursery rhymes for a few months now. She loves the dancing during mat time at Gymbaroo: hokey pokey and turning around. Today she started a new dance which is her own, flapping her arms together as high as she can reach then bringing them down by her sides. She steps with knees high and a big smile.
We had a small singing time today, learning Christmas carols. Silent night, Mary's Boy Child, and revising our favourite Away in a Manger. Immediately afterwards was nap time. Priscilla held Pascale and sang the lullaby version of Away in a Manger. Was that a little voice singing along with "(The cattle are) lowing, (the) baby awakes" ?
