Reading with mum

Lately Pascale has shown an increasing interest in reading, whether by herself or with someone reading to her (adult or Abigail). She has been more interested in Abigail's home reading books than Abigail herself! Tonight she chose "Where is the green sheep?" for bedtime reading with Priscilla.

As Priscilla reads she points to the words with her finger. This clearly annoys Pascale (not one to put up with annoyances) and she says :"you don't have to do that". "Do what? point with my finger at the words?" "Yes, I already know them."

Then Pascale proceeds to "read" from memory while Priscilla turns the pages. She has imprinted the book from a first reading with Chris, using some of his words to describe scenes that have no commentary.
