Chair Climber

This morning at South St, as soon as Pascale awoke and was taken out to the living room, she headed for one of the dining chairs and tried to climb it. When that was unsuccessful she went to try one of the kiddy chairs in the craft area. Success! Big grin and clap. Then tried to clamber across onto the craft table. This was repeated about 5 times.

On one of the repetitions the kiddy chair fell backwards and squashed one of her toes. Pascale started to cry as she hobbled away from the chair. Then when she had calmed down she tried to pull the chair back upright and climbed again.

In the evening when Pascale knocked over a rattan chair that she was climbing repeatedly, she came to her mother and made a noise as if to say that the chair had fallen over.
