Parent Carer interview at Union
Vanessa discussed Pascale's progress as well as giving us a summary of her progress since starting at Union in March. The main issue to be addressed is to get Pascale to fall asleep in the cot for daytime naps, instead of the current practice of holding her (and Wowo and wrapped in a gauze) until she is asleep. Parents and grandparents are to assist by adopting this approach starting asap. Also Vanessa noted Pascale seems cranky in the mornings (tired) and is happy after having a nap. Suggests we get Pascale to Union earlier than we have been (10-1030am) maybe around 9am? So that Pascale arrives not too tired, has chance for a morning nap before play and lunch, and she might settle in better. Else bring her in for casual visits to get better aquainted with carers.
