Pascale had already eaten dinner at Por Por's place so anything else would be according to her interest not hunger. She tried prawn chips and like them, sitting at the regular chairs while all relatives circulated and socialised around her. During the adults meal, Pascale played with the toys and books and cousins. But first she pushed her dolly stroller outside of the function room and into the main restaurant, looking at all the people and stopping every now and then to laugh and pat Wowo the stuffed dog. She navigated along the waiters cirulation path to the alarm of her mother who followed, until she reached the fish tanks. She looked up, pointed and said "yu yu". Re-entered function room and then left to repeat the walk this time followed by Chris. Tried to close the door to stop Pascale from leaving but she started to protest loudly and was allowed to leave again.
When Pascale decided that she wanted to play inside the room, she was fixated by a magic mirror toy (snow white) that had a twinkly sound upon pressing of a button, followed by appearance of snow white's face.
After a while Pascale came to sit on the stroller. This was her sign for being ready for a sleep, but being so exciting with lots of people, group photos being taken etc, she resisted staying in the stroller. So Chris picked her up and carried her outside for a walk, then returned soon after with a slumbering child. Por Por rushed to carry her, and held her until time for family lai see distribution. Pascale slept from 9pm until it was time to go home at 11pm, and only awoke because her nappy was being changed. Then slept during the car ride, and only protested once she was picked up out of the car seat to go into the house. She dislikes her room and cried even when held. Probably over tired, so was left to work things out for herself. Finally quiet descended around 130pm.
