Montessori lunch club

Pascale and Priscilla have started to have lunch in the park opposite the Lilyfield campus straight after the end of school morning. Pascale has been ravenous at 12noon and a bit unhinged because of this, so we have been the first to reach the park on each of our 3 mornings so far.

We spread out a rug and enjoy lunchbox food. Pascale is fascinated by the other children and by the bold pigeons scavenging closeby (running to frighten them off). We have met many friendly parents and children, some from Kinta others from Sintonia (the other Stage 1 class at Lilyfield). After food Pascale sometimes has a turn on the play equipment but she usually climbs into her stroller for a rest and to signal her need for a break.
