Fruit and veg shopping

Pascale sat on the front of the trolley, safely strapped in. She smiled at anyone who passed by and looked in her direction, receiving many compliments on her cuteness. Then we started to walk through the store. Pascale pointed excitedly whenever she saw some food that she liked (and wanted to sample!) White grapes - unfortunately had seeds so was spit out; red grapes - no seeds so we put a bunch into our trolley; avocado bucket - too quick for Pascale to see; sweet corn - wanted to carry the tray and tried to take off the plastic wrapping; watermelon - spotted from a fair distance but was too expensive to buy this time; rockmelon - wanted to hold on to it despite its weight and size; sweet potato - Priscilla told Pascale what this was and she wanted to hold on to it; boxes of Barilla pasta - Pascale liked the boxes and looking through the window at the pasta inside; and bananas - Pascale was a bit stunned by this stage and didn't react as expected.

At the checkout, Pascale kept an eagle eye out for the shop assistant. Passersby commented on how good she was, keeping so still. This was repeated in the quick trip to buy yoghurt etc in Coles. Pascale was getting tired but kept on pointing to bananas in the distance and saying "nana".
