Sensitive period for spelling and drawing

In the last few days Pascale has started to write her own name.  The first complete attempt came this morning after breakfast, and was repeated at the childcare sign in sheet (for kids).  Later in the morning Pascale drew a recognisable figure on the ground using chalk.  The features included a head with 2 eyes correctly placed, 2 stick legs and 2 stick arms outstretched.  There was a stroke coming from the side of the head: later turned out to be long hair/ponytail a la Abigail's drawing style.  Then Pascale stepped back from her work before adding a heavy short fringe, continuing over the ponytail.  I think that the drawing was of Abigail.
