Today Pascale didn't wear a sleep nappy for her nap. In the past it's been fine cos she usually goes to the toilet before settling in. Despite this, today's sleep must have been particularly deep as she awoke crying and having wet the bed. She was quite upset for about 15 minutes, becoming less hysterical as she was changed and then watched her mother change the bedding. Was she embarrassed or so surprised by this? She didn't really calm down until Priscilla asked her if she wanted a puffer, then greedily took in the ventolin from a spacer and mask.
Subsequently we were late picking up Abigail from school. Priscilla phoned Connie (secretary) to ask her to take care/reassure Abigail that we were coming.
