Ice Skating

There was a story book in Por Por's house about a little girl ice skater that captured the imagination of both Abigail and Pascale. We had to try ice skating ourselves, so went to Macquarie Centre Ice Rink in the holidays with Maddie Stewart, her baby sister and mother. Pascale was very well balanced from the start. Putting on her size 24 boots was easy, then she wobbled a bit before going onto the ice with Priscilla. She stayed upright throughout the session. A roving instructor showed her how to to "penguin steps" and Pascale found this let her move by herself. She was very happy to go round and round for the entire 1.5 hour session.
