Booster seats for eating on

Gung Gung had prepared a booster seat for Pascale, using phone books taped together. Abi liked this and tried to sit on Pascale's booster which Pascale did not like. So Gung Gung decided to make a booster for Abi out of timber.

When Pascale saw this she wanted nothing of the phone books, instead sitting on the timber booster seat. Abi was upset. So Gung Gung had to make a matching one for Pascale.

Finally the sisters had matching booster seats made of timber. The bases were a bit slippery when placed on top of the timber dining chairs, so Priscilla got 2 towels to use as base. One was pink and white stripe, the other yellow and white stripe.

One morning, Abi awoke and came out of the bedroom to find Pascale having breakfast, sitting on the seat with the pink and white stripe towel. She was most upset, and tried to pull Pascale out of the seat. When Priscilla stopped this, Abi tried to climb up onto the booster seat next to Pascale (intending to push Pascale off). Priscilla also stopped this, then asked Abi how she could get to sit on the pink chair without upsetting Pascale (who was at the table first and had first choice - maybe a bit unfair). Suggested waiting for Pascale to finish her meal, sitting on the yellow chair, or asking Pascale to move onto the yellow chair. Priscilla thought the last option was unlikely but when Pascale was asked, she nodded her head and let herself be moved onto the yellow chair. Abi's tears stopped.
