Food!

During this growth spurt and developmental boom, Pascale has been wanting to eat constantly. Breakfast of yoghurt and muesli/dried fruit leads to honey toast (sometimes 2 pieces). Lunch must be at 11am unless Pascale is napping, then afternoon tea around 2pm if she can hold out. Late afternoon tea is needed around 4pm, but Pascale cries for dinner just before 5pm. Sometimes if not too tired Pascale eats apple / yoghurt for dessert after bath.

One day at Por Por's the children had just had a snack in the car at around 1030 am. Priscilla thought that they won't want lunch at 11am... so let Abi and Pascale play with water (30deg plus humidity). Pascale was enjoying herself sitting in water in a washing tub playing with Por Por when she started to cry. Por Por couldn't comfort or distract her, then she thought maybe hunger? It was 1130-ish. As soon as a bowl of hor fun and mince appeared in front of her, Pascale stopped crying. So while seated in the tub of cold-ish water Pascale was fed like a baby bird by Por Por.

Then after the meal Pascale continued with waterplay, including turning on the external water tap which had been conveniently fitted with easy turn levers by Gung Gung (thank you!)..Soon after her purple lips was a sign that she needed to be dried and clothed.

Note: Pascale recently started to use her spoons without the extra half turn of the wrist that spills spoon contents onto lap before it reaches the mouth. She figured out that you need to slurp off the spoon, not tip contents into mouth. Getting better at yoghurt and muesli, also sloppy rice.
